Miami Gardens Project

Built in 1976, a much needed restoration for this Miami Gardens home and a close family member in need, became a priority at the end of 2020.  The project, which started on October 22, 2020 and was completed on 16 January, 2021, consisted of taking the entire home halfway down to the studs due to a broken water pipe/leak damage, and completely rebuilding…  Luckily, the roof was completely redone during October 2018, and the concrete and cinder block foundation was in perfect conditions.  Areas rebuilt:

  • Entire flooring
  • Kitchen: New cabinets and appliances
  • Porch: New flooring, ceiling, and screened patio/porch area.
  • Car Port: New ceiling
  • Exterior: Re-stucco entire front, carport, and patio area.
  • Replaced 6 of 9 window/slider openings.
  • Alarm system, low voltage wiring, and centralization of all audio/video sources.
  • Electrical: replacement of electrical panel, breakers, outlets, and all switches.  Added smoke and CO2 detectors (locally and central station monitoring).
  • All new bedroom doors, bi-fold doors, and closet doors.
  • Complete bathroom rebuild (toilets, fixtures, cabinets, shower doors, flooring, and floor to ceiling wall tiles).
